~Hair Fair 2014 Reviews: Little Bones, Due, Milk~

heya! ((^~^)) Hair Fair 2014 is here until July 27th and this is my first time doing some hair reviews for this wonderful event! spanning across 4 sims, a percentage of every sale will go towards Wigs For Kids! today i am featuring every new hairstyle at the event from Little Bones. (top), [Due] (middle), and *Milk* (bottom)!

Little Bones. has 5 new styles for you and Glow features a hat that you can change the color of! i really like Breathe too because it is so long that it almost touches my virtual knees lol! 

[Due] is offering up 3 new styles and you can see that each one comes with a removable accessory that is color-changeable! 

*Milk* also has 5 new styles including some ponytails and dreadlock up-do’s that include her famous hairbases!

i am also going to include every SLURL to each hair store at the event, just for your convenience!

OUR STORY

After 2 years in Second Life, my brother and I felt a desire to give meaning and purpose to the hours we spent in-world. Our dad died with Parkinson’s and our mother has it now. To quote her “I may have Parkinson’s, but it does not have me.” At 85 years young, she has entered Second Life and is thrilled to see herself running and dancing again. 

Fran leads a Parkinson’s Support Group on Thursdays 10:00 SLT (Please contact co-leader Tray.Rivera or Brenda Brodie for location and information)

This sim was created for everyone to enjoy. Those of us in Second Life can have fun while knowing we are making a difference in the real world. Those who are affected by Parkinson’s can learn about SL, a world where they can be free of physical limitations.

~Archie Appeal Fundraiser~

heya! i recently heard about an event and just had to show my support! if you love helping others & shopping for a good cause, then this is for you! 

“One of our Truth District designers, Gospel Voom, has recently had a heartbreaking incident happen in his life. His beloved cat, Archibald, was hit by a car two weeks ago. Miraculously, Archibald was able to make it home and is currently being treated for his injuries which include massive head and facial injuries. The surgeries and veterinary costs associated have already been astronomical and will continue to rise. 

Those of us who have owned a pet, can understand what Gos must be going through. On top of the emotional distress, there is the large question as to how to ensure Arch will receive the necessary care. Truth District and several talented friends from across the grid have come together to help raise funds for Archibald’s expenses. 

There will be items for sale - some exclusive to the event - with proceeds going to help Archibald. You’ll find these at the Truth District landing point, leading up to Gos where the entire store is 50% off! 

All funds raised will go to Gospel Voom for Archibald’s medical expenses.”
